Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

By using eprcalc.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Informational purpose only

EPRCalc produces estimates of state-level Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) packaging fees based on modeled rate tables and inferred packaging composition. Estimates are shown with a ±20% confidence band. The Service is not a substitute for formal compliance reporting, legal advice, tax advice, or audit-grade measurement. You should consult qualified counsel and a certified packaging auditor before relying on any estimate for a regulatory filing.

2. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Rate tables are modeled from publicly available PRO and state-agency guidance and may not reflect current actual rates.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the Service is limited to the nominal value of the Service to you, US $0.00, consistent with the fact that the Service is provided free of charge. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overwhelm the Service with automated traffic; (b) submit URLs that you do not have the right to submit for analysis; (c) use the Service to violate any law or the rights of any third party. We may rate-limit or block access at our discretion.

5. Intellectual property

The content, layout, and code of the Service are our property or the property of our licensors. You may link to EPRCalc and cite estimates with attribution, but you may not republish our rate tables, FAQ, or landing copy without written permission.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
